Artist Note

These paintings came from a period of studying consciousness and mythological stories about descending into the underworld and returning to share the gifts of that journey. One piece depicts a spiraling inward: a meditative descent into stillness, symbolized through a black hole (the mystery at the center of our being). The companion piece radiates outward like a sun, expressing the energy, creativity, love, and meaning that emerge when we connect to that inner source.

This work is a reminder that what you’re searching for is within you, and every time you connect to it, you and the world around you are all the better for it.
